Henry of London Seals

Wax seals are placed on important documents in the Cathedral to authorise them. This is a replica of the seal of Henry of London, Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland from 1212 to 1228. Its depiction of the holy women at the sepulchre symbolises the archiepiscopal palace and manor house of Saint Sepulchre that once stood beside the Cathedral.
